The combined academics members of the Centre have been involved in the supervision of over 12 postgraduate research students up to 2005 in biopharma and neutraceutical project areas. The first year of BPNR has seen an increase in the number of postgraduates supervised by the Full Academic Members, from 8 at designation (all registered as MSc students) to 10 now, 3 having successfully transferred to the PhD register. In the last five years BPNR members have had 5 MSc and 2 PhD graduates. In 2006 one more MSc student has been recommended for graduation.
