Higher Certificate in Bio & Pharmaceutical Analysis
About the Course
The Higher Certificate programme will equip individuals with the necessary foundations of knowledge, skill and competence expected of graduates in analytical science. It will enable participants to develop, through structured hands-on learning, a professional and technical competency in bio/analytical methods and problem solving skills needed to work effectively in quality driven industry and other environments.

Entry Level
Grade D3 in at least 5 ordinary level subjects in the Leaving Certificate including English or Irish and Mathematics or a relevant FETAC Level 5 qualification or equivalent. Mature students need not meet the above requirements and acceptance will be based on experiential learning, commitment to the programme and interview. Career Opportunities
Graduates of this programme will be capable of working as analytical scientists in the QC/QA functions of the bio & pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Important Note
this programme is designed for company groups only. If you wish to apply for this course you must be employed in a pharmaceutical type company and have approval for day release from the company (for one day per week). You must also be free to attend ITT Dublin one evening per week.
