About the Course

The aim of this programme is to provide students with a general understanding of the wine and beverage sector in Ireland and with the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance career prospects within wine and beverage wholesale and retail operations.

Entry Level

If under 23 years applicants must have a grade C3 in a minimum of two subjects in the Leaving Certificate examinations, (this must include Maths and English/Irish) or a FETAC Level 5 qualification or equivalent. Mature students (over 23 years) may be exempted from this requirement and are eligible to apply. All applicants must have competence in spoken and written English.

The growth of wine retailing and the hospitality sector presents many career opportunities for graduates of this course. Successful participants can progress to a Major award in Wine and Beverage Management Level 7.

Fees & Funding

€885 per academic year (inclusive of ITT Dublin registration fee and examination fee). If completing individual modules/groups of modules the individual module fee is €115 plus the ITT Dublin registration fee of €30 and an examination fee of €15 per module examination (up to a maximum of €70 per academic year).
