CIPD Certificate in Employment Relations - Law & Practice
About the Course
Covers key aspects of the employment law function required by human resources, employee relations assistants, line managers, owner-managers of small business or any individual who is aspiring to a career in HR management or employee relations.
The programme comprises two taught modules each semester delivered one evening each week. There is also a requirement to attend a full Saturday skills development workshop each semester
On completing the programme you will have the practical skills and knowledge to:
- Readily identify the key issues that impact on employment practice
- Apply the law effectively to your organisation
- Use legal frameworks to assess your organisations employment law practices and procedures
- Prepare and conduct face-to-face interviews including disciplinary, grievance and exit interviews
- Give practical advice and guidance on employment law issues to line managers
