More Professional Cookery Success

Just to let you know that chef lecturers Annette Sweeney and Ita Holton along with some of second year Professional Cookery won first and second places in the national Flahavan’s Perfect Porridge Recipe competition. Winners were announced last Thursday.
• Overall winner: Recipe for the perfect porridge dish Prize: €1500.00
• Runner up: Innovative use of oats in a recipe Prize: €500.00
Flahavan’s intend doing some PR on this next week and the Culinary Students will be centrally involved in same.
